our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Prince of Sweden. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his atmospheric sound.
The mysterious and nostalgic voice of this artist immediately struck me.
A voice capable of speaking directly to the soul and the heart that makes you believe in the words sung in the lyrics.
Music that makes you travel with your imagination… I imagined myself traveling aimlessly through the English countryside on a foggy day without a precise destination, one of those days when you just want to find yourself and forget the problems of everyday life.
The guitar is crystalline and plucked and played like a light rain falling on you.
A light but intense melody that creates magic and excites the listener in every step.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Prince of Sweden is a singer-songwriter from south London with a penchant for introspective lyricism. He grew up in the country and learned guitar from the guy with the farm opposite his house. Last March he played at Camden Assembly and has featured in Hot Vox’s RISING series, raising money for War Child.
Prince of Sweden’s influences range from the 60s infused rock’n’roll of the Arctic Monkeys, to the slow folk ballads of Leonard Cohen
