The cadence of this tune immediately intrigued me. I was mesmerized by this rhythm… the voice completed the work.
A really interesting compositional style that somehow manages to speak directly to your unconscious.
The melodic line of the piano tickled my cerebral cortex which began to send neuronal impulses capable of creating oneiric visions.
Listening to this music is like taking an extrasensory journey.
What Kingdom is an artist who likes to experiment and only follows his instinct and not commercial rules. His music reminded me of Lars von Trier’s films, absolutely brilliant.
I recommend everyone to go and listen to his tunes, you will be surprised by the originality of this sound.

What Kingdom is a project that looks back and reflects on past and present times. A lighthearted take on young vs old and how things have changed over the years.
This UK producer has had a number of past releases under different aliases. Scott Marshall, Rutes and Secret Mystery School are just a few and can still be found on vinyl under top electronic labels like Third Ear Recordings, Macadam Mambo and Wrong Island Communication.
WK is different though…The idea is to be completely independent and design everything myself. From the music, to the artwork, even the video… Everything is my own and put together solely by me.
