Based around a character who has lost all of their memory that can uncontrollably glitch into different timelines, whenever they get a flashback, iNKOGNiiTO (they/them), is an experimental music and visual artist. Currently based in North London, they blur fiction and reality with their concept driven music, coining their own genre of ‘Alternative Futuristic’.
Featuring unconventional song structures, expressive drums, complex sounds, harmony stacks, distorted vocals and spacey synths, their previous projects have already intrigued multiple media outlets praising their fearless progressiveness – while Europe’s largest entertainment store, the HMV Vault in Birmingham, invited iNKOGNiiTO to perform in 2023. Earlier this year, their latest single Satellites ?? was also highlighted in TIDAL’S Rising UK playlist. With their music often carrying themes of memory, loss, disconnection and nihilism, the vision is to cultivate balance, acceptance and expose the dangers of denial & toxic positivity.
