Chris Wicked has been compared to artists like Nick Cave and David Bowie, and Norway’s own Seigmen and Madrugada. His deep, melancholic lyrics performed in his native tongue, combined with a band of experienced musicians with many international tours on their resumé, makes Chris a unique artist to be experienced both in album form and live!
The debut album “Aleine” was released in 2021 on Apollon Records and has received great reviews, and both singles (Aleine and Sørgebånd) has been aired on national radio. Helping out on the recordings the band invited friends like Gaahl (Gaahls Wyrd, Gorgoroth), Hoest (Taake, Gorgoroth), Niklas Kvarforth (Shining) and V’gandr (Helheim) to collaborate, and the sound is quite stunning!
2024 will also be the year when Chris will launch a brand new synth pop project, IBEX BLACK, where he collaborates with producer Anders Trier-Vaage.
Chris Wicked is also known for his work with Malice In Wonderland, where he released several albums and toured the world.
