Good Day Noir Family, Joshua Ketchmark is back with another single “No Stopping Us” from his album Blood.
No Stopping Us is Joshua Ketchmark’s Single
I’ve listened to Blood many times in the past and being able to focus on this single gives me great pleasure.
In this ballad, Joshua Ketchmark reminded me of artists like John Mellencamp and the vocal interpretation at times reminded me of Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.
No Stopping Us is an airy song that makes you think of cornfields and sunny days. It’s a tune that transfers the will to live and gives you a lot of energy to keep going.
Perhaps unconsciously Joshua Ketchmark was inspired by Rousseau’s Emile to compose this song. A boy who is left alone to explore to gain experience, as only by trying things in person he can truly learn.
A person must have the freedom to move and even make mistakes, life is in the flow. The important thing is that there is no one to stop you or us… No Stopping Us!
No Stopping Us is Joshua Ketchmark’s Single Out Now!
Intense!
No Stopping Us is Joshua Ketchmark’s Single
‘No Stopping Us’ is the 4th single from Joshua Ketchmark’s 10th studio album titled ‘BLOOD”
It is a song about coming of age. “We were right outside of glory” the chorus exclaims.
“There’re some timeless traditions small towns conjure, dark roads your youth is meant to wander”
This song was written by Ketchmark like all of the other songs on ‘BLOOD’ and is closely based on his own experiences growing up two and half hours south of Chicago, IL.
All of the music and lyrics composed, produced, engineered and mixed by Ketchmark, with C.C. Wyle adding beautiful vocal harmonies, Zak. St. John (Black Star Riders/Stevie Wonder) playing drums and adding percussion, the bass was played by Ger Hoffman, Organ performed by Michael Webb (Chris Stapleton, Dave Hause) And Electric Guitars by Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Morgan Wade)
