The EP opens with a striking take on Take Me Home, Country Roads. Stripped of its original warmth, the song takes on a more introspective and melancholic tone, evoking a sense of longing rather than nostalgia.
Overseas undergoes an even more drastic transformation, shedding its country roots in favor of a high-energy hard rock assault. The production is razor-sharp, and the execution is flawless, injecting raw power into every note.
Ghost Riders in the Sky shifts into heavier terrain, anchored by a thunderous rhythm and an almost dystopian atmosphere. The weight of the arrangement gives the song a darker edge while preserving its storytelling essence.

The7thGatekeeper, hailing from Barry, South Wales, England, just released their latest release, the Cover EP titled “No One Was Saved.” This project showcases the artist’s versatility and creativity. The EP features inspired-by and cover songs, with each track paying homage to artists who have influenced The7thGatekeeper’s musical journey. Collaborating with key contributors such as their wife DMM7 for production and creative direction, friend Andrew Davies for additional lead guitar, and Romesh Dodangoda for mixing & mastering, this EP promises to captivate audiences with its unique interpretations.
