No Friend is Agent Envy’s Single
The mysterious vibe of this intriguing artist’s new single had me hooked right away.
A twilight intro that immediately manages to transport you to a parallel universe. As I was listening to this beautiful melody I imagined myself walking through a pine forest on a full moon night. In the distance, the howls of wolves accompanied my path.
Agent Envy’s voice is intense and this artist demonstrates excellent vocal control. The thing I liked the most are the vocal harmonies and arrangements that reminded me of Alice In Chains. The music instead in some moments reminded me of Incubus.
The compositional style is inspired by the 90s but manages to be modern at the same time. The distorted guitars are powerful and give the right intensity to the chorus.
It is evident that Agent Envy is an artist with a developed artistic taste and with a great compositional experience behind her.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

No Friend is Agent Envy’s Single
Agent Envy is a San Diego-based artist and producer. She has been close to music her whole life, starting voice, piano, and guitar lessons, as well as songwriting and musical theater, all at a young age.
“NO FRIEND” is a dark, energetic alternative rock song that says “enough is enough.” With a solid vocal mix of sultry lows and belted highs against melodic guitars and synths, Agent Envy’s latest track takes inspiration from early 2000s rock, metal, and industrial records. Inspired by artists like Massive Attack and Tool along with newer artists like PVRIS and Metric, her music has an important quality to it.
