Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Nigel Brown. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and was fascinated by his music.
The compositional style of this artist made me jump into the past and reminded me of distant times.
At the same time, the production is modern and solid and manages to bring this music into a unique and peculiar limbo that makes it stand out from the crowd.
Some songs on this fantastic album reminded me of the Beatles and Tom Petty’s melodic lines and a few other legendary artists who helped make rock history.
Honestly, in Something Good Will Come by Nigel Brown, I found no flaws, all the songs are solid and the album follows a very coherent thread that makes this work mature and refined.
I especially enjoyed Tear It Down, a beautiful ballad that has nostalgic overtones that somehow was able to speak to my heart and soul and that whistling melody will ring in my ears for a long time.
A very talented artist that I recommend to everyone.
Something Good Will Come is Nigel Brown’s Album Out Now!
Refined and Mature!
Quote: “I began playing guitar when I was about 14. Mainly learning chords from playing along with The Beatles and Bob Dylan. Almost from the start my idea was to write my own songs. At the age of fifteen I had recorded my first album of my own songs, recorded straight onto a cassette tape!
In my early twenties I made the move to London to pursue my musical ambitions. After playing in many bands and doing a lot of live shows I found my true passion was for the recording studio. I got some work writing music for a Discovery Channel series. This evolved into writing and recording all the music for around twenty series mainly for Discovery and Sky.
I then recorded three albums for the De Wolfe music library. I recently recorded an album of songs for Felt Music. I also did an instrumental album for Soho Production Music, and have just completed an album of ‘Psychedelic Rock’ for them too. Having sent some songs to Adam Wakeman, at the Perfect Music library, I was pleased to find my EP ‘Forever Be’ was the first in his series for APM in the USA. In 2009 I made a plan to write and release a series of ten albums of my own songs. 2022 will see the release of the tenth one ‘Something Good Will Come’. These can all be found on Spotify and iTunes“.
