Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Narrow Margin. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their energy and style.
From the first seconds I immediately liked the energy of this band. A very addictive rock/punk that makes you want to dance.
It feels like this band spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical understanding.
The bass and drums precisely follow the rhythmic patterns while the guitars push giving energy to the whole sound.
The voice is great and reminded me that of Joey Ramone.
The production is perfect for the genre. The slightly raw sound makes everything much more sincere and the wild and rock spirit shines through the sound of this talented band.
Let’s keep them under the radar because these guys are on the right track to do well.
Urban Hell is Narrow Margin’s Single Out Now!
Energetic and Cool!
Narrow Margin are one of the freshest young acts on the vibrant Manchester music scene. They turned heads in 2019 with their raw, energetic and entertaining live shows, and a sold out Deaf Institute gig and have started 2020 by smashing the O2 Ritz Manchester as support to The K’s.
Their debut single “Kids Don’t Dance” on fast-rising new label 42’s Records hit no.2 in the UK Physical Singles Chart. The band met at High School when twins Ben and Jake Etches, who had been playing music together for fun since they were kids, were spotted by bassist Herbie Hursthouse, who invited them to join him in a new band, they added Danny Hollinworth and then found Ian Spiller to front the lineup.
