our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to My Twisted Heart. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
This talented artist offers a modern and refined style.
Surely I am in front of an experienced producer who keeps every little nuance under control.
The chosen sounds, the chord progression are never banal and obvious and manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is excellent, the mix in particular leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
My Twisted Heart offers a mainstream style where it is difficult to get noticed, but this guy has managed to create an original sound recipe and therefore is able to stand out from the crowd.

My Twisted Heart (AKA MT Heart) is a singer/songwriter and member of the creative collective Outsiders Entertainment. Born and raised in Hong Kong, My Twisted Heart’s music was originally inspired by Asian music genres, namely Canton-Pop, J-Rock and K-Pop. My Twisted Heart developed an interest in singing at an early age and he would perform cover tracks at school talent and singing contests.
Later during his College years in Ireland, My Twisted Heart officially became a member of the Outsiders and was introduced to Western music genres such as Hip-Hop, Electronic, R&B etc. Marrying Eastern and Western genres has become the DNA of his sound. His music often deals with themes of heartbreak, loneliness, and regret as these allow him to explore some of the deeper and darker emotions he has experienced.
