Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Mungo Park. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the sincerity of this sound.
The sound brings with it ancestral vibrations. Music with elements of tradition that manage to make you take a dip in the past.
While I was listening to this beautiful song I imagined myself walking through the Mesetas and the corn caressed by the wind hypnotized me.
The music of Mungo Park manages to directly speak to the listener’s soul. A sincere and direct sound that touched my heart.
Even the production, which is a bit “raw”, in my opinion, is perfect for the genre as it makes it even more authentic.
I have to say that I liked this EP very much because every song is solid and there is a common thread that makes this work artistically very coherent.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Pure and Sincere!
Mungo Park is Raul’s brainchild, he had been thinking for several years about creating a new band strongly influenced by Scottish music in the town where he lives. After a long time looking for musicians, he was finally able to gather a group that fits with his musical idea. The first one to join was the guitarist Carlos; after him, the bass guitarist Perfecto came and joined as well. At the beginning Busi, the drummer, was just helping the lads with the project but, at last, he decided to be a full-time member. The search for a keyboard player was a little bit difficult but, after trying to play with some other pianists, they found in Mila the perfect partner for the band.
