E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Movment
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Movment. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the twilight vibes of their sound.
The dark and industrial atmosphere proposed by this eclectic band immediately struck me.
A fascinating and unique sound, the singer’s voice reminded me of Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. The rhythm is hypnotic and I saw myself dancing to this song in an unknown bar on the outskirts of Dublin.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is good and I liked the attention paid to every little detail and the well thought out sound research.
This Modern music, however, is inspired by a compositional style from the past, this subtle balance is the secret of the Movment’s sound.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

MOVMENT are an alternative rock bank band from Ireland. They have released 1 album, Broken Down, and 1 EP, Red Death Sessions. They will be releasing their 2nd album, Transformation, on 02 December 2021, preceded by Propaganda out now, and Leave Me Alone on 29 October.
Movment are more dark than light, more strong than weak, more direct. Movment make observations on life and living. They mean what they say.
