Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Morgana Quasar. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their compositional style.
I really like the music from this band already from the first seconds, a way of interpreting music that find inspiration from the past but manages to be modern at the same time
You can feel that these guys have a great experience behind them and their musical understanding is enviable.
This is pure rock, not string attached, crafted in the typical, irreverent English style. When I listen to a band like the Morgana Quasar I breathe a sigh of relief because this music is real.
You can feel the blood and sweat on the instruments. This music is not seasoned by plasticized beats.
I found no flaws in this Album ‘We Positive (We +)‘ all the songs are great and well thought out. The chord progression is never predictable and banal and entertains the listener from the first to the last second.
A great discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Morgana Quasar founding members, Malcolm E Scott and Patrick D were raised on either side of the Atlantic. They met in London in the 1980’s when Malcolm joined Buddy Curtess and the Grasshoppers, a popular soul/pop band in which Patrick was one of four singers. Both Malcolm and Patrick went on to have successful careers in the music industry, mainly recording and touring with other artists. They have remained friends throughout, sharing a love for an eclectic body of musical influences from Barry Manilow to The Mothers Of Invention. These songs are the culmination of those years of professional experience, personal struggle and social disenchantment.
