our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Morgan Olai. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked his way of composing music a lot.
The music of this artist immediately put me in a good mood, a serene style that manages to free your mind of everyday problems.
Morgan Olai’s compositional style reminded me in some moments of Beck’s genius. A very talented artist who seems to have a lot of compositional experience behind him.
The thing that I liked the most is his ability to make different genres coexist in a single coherent musical product.
For example, in Mister Papadopoulos, there are clear references to Zorbas that make you feel in Greece, and then the following piece “The Man With No Shadow” makes you feel in Mexico or in a Tarantino movie… absolutely fantastic.
I found no faults in this album all the songs are solid and the work, in general, is flawless and the production is excellent.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
