Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Moon Walker. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was intrigued by their unique style.
What an interesting style this duo offers us.
This music is full of influences that ranges between modern and past reaching an enviable balance.
These guys have managed to create something unique and different that fascinates from the first listen.
Very beautiful musical arrangements that keep every little nuance under control.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the voice interprets the lyrics with great emphasis.
The mix and production are excellent and each sound element finds the right space and their songs flow well.
Go and listen to them it’s worth it!
The TV Made Me Do It is Moon Walker’s Single Out Now!
Refined and Modern!
Using electrifying foot stomper “Tear Down The Wall” as their fuel, Moon Walker crashed onto the earth like a space age rocket. The duo’s undeniable energy and inimitable musical chemistry is the result of over half a decade of playing shows and self-releasing music together.
Taking cues from such legends as Bowie, Talking Heads and Led Zeppelin, singer/guitarist Harry Springer and drummer Sean McCarthy have created a fusion of explosive drum grooves and thrashing guitar riffs that is all their own. While listeners might hear traces of glam rock, post punk, or even kraut rock echoing through debut single “Tear Down The Wall”, one would be left scratching their head for weeks if they sought to limit Moon Walker’s vast soundscape to one genre. With bold, timely lyrics that confront such issues as economic inequality, media sensationalism and social responsibility, Moon Walker has made it clear that they will never shy away from shouting what they believe in. So, listen up, because Moon Walker has a lot to say and they aren’t going anywhere.
