This artist has a very delicate and refined compositional approach.
The first thing that struck me is the voice. A magical vocal timbre that manages to speak directly to the listener’s heart and soul.
The inclusion of ethnic instruments gives this music ancestral vibes. The melody of Mongolian Train Heist (Chapter I) seems to arrive to us carried by the wind. This song brings with it a profound message.
The performance by all the musicians is masterful. I would compare Atúl’s musical vision closer to Wardruna’s.
This music can make you travel with your imagination and for a moment, closing my eyes, I saw myself flying over the immense Mongolian plains and I felt free.
A wonderful discovery that I recommend to everyone.

“I’m Atúl, an Indian artist residing in Norway. This is a release in a long time and for a debut project of Atúl. I spent a considerable amount of time crafting this song. I recorded it in 2021 but a few life circumstances held it back from being released. Now I believe it’s ready to go.
The song “Mongolian Train Heist” carries a connotation of wonder, mirage, duality of affliction and joy to me personally, but I want to leave it to the listeners for their own interpretations. I’m releasing ‘Chapter 1’ of the song which will be followed by subsequent chapters or additions to the song like junctions on a journey. The song to me follows an honest musical flow.“
