I already reviewed the music of Colt Sterk in the past but this talented songwriter is back with a new cool single “Mistake” and I want to share my opinion about it.

Another intense song. The ability of this artist to transfer his emotions into music is incredible.
With these melodies and his interpretative style, Colt Sterk manages to speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener.
Mistake is a beautiful ballad that we can all relate to as it speaks of universal emotions.
The production is fantastic. I really liked the female choirs in the choruses that emphasize even more the magical and troubled relationship between man and woman.
An artist who in my opinion deserves much more and who should already be on the top of the charts around the world.
Colt Sterk produces catchy, quality music. I think it’s only a matter of time before he gets noticed by the masses.

This single began production in Berlin, Germany and the recording process was completed in Boise, Idaho. My producer is a childhood friend that I used to make music with in his closet as a kid. He got his production engineering degree and we made this single and the soon to be released EP.
This single is just one part of a greater story of pursuing, struggling with and ultimately finding love. Specifically, this song speaks on navigating whether it’s a mistake to end a serious relationship or if the relationship was a mistake in the first place.
