E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Martin Smith

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Martin Smith. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked a lot his musical approach.

The music of this artist gives hope and makes you see the future in a better way.

As soon as I hit the play button my soul was filled with good vibes. A modern and catchy compositional style which, however, is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

The production is very professional and in particular, the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

At times this compositional style reminded me of Imagine Dragons.

We find ourselves in front of a great singer-songwriter with a lot of experience behind him, a beautiful discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Inspiring!

For the last three decades, UK worship artist, songwriter and producer Martin Smith has been penning songs that bring fresh air to the lungs of the Church. From “Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble?” and “Waiting Here For You” to “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever” and “History Maker,” Martin’s songs have connected generations and inspired and influenced worship leaders and worshippers alike. And whether as frontman for the groundbreaking band Delirious?, lead singer of Army Of Bones or as a solo worship leader, Martin has been involved with almost every aspect of the modern worship movement. Married to Anna, father to six children and part of the Bright City worship team at St. Peter’s Church in Brighton, England, Martin continues to write, tour and lead worship.
