The compositional approach of this artist immediately intrigued me.
A style that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
A melodic and original alternative rock that brings with it elements of desert rock. Those ethereal solos, played by Mark Stein, make you think of the great American plains where the wind still carries the forgotten stories of the pioneers who came to America in search of fortune.
The vocal interpretation is passionate and intense and makes you believe the words of the lyrics. Sometimes this vocal timbre reminded me of Gilmour’s and also some musical harmonic passages made me think of Pink Floyd.
The chord progression is well thought out and the musical arrangements are impeccable.
Man Of Faith is a beautiful, dreamy, and nostalgic song that, however, hides a veil of hope inside.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Steve April has a street named after his music, April Lane and April Place, in Mountain View, Ca
April Lane, April Place, two new streets 1/4 mile or so from where I lived. (also about 1/4 mile from where I live now, having moved)
What an experience. Hard to believe it at first. This was 2011.
A bit of a back story…the neighborhood received a complaint or two about my music. For example, I was told there was a complaint about the song image for my song “The Cat, The Moon, and The Songbird…” (still visible on my artist page, www. indiemusicpeople.com.
A real estate agent who was among those who I dealt with, when selling my mother’s house (who I helped take care of at the time), told me “they named a street after your music.” “Are you joking?,” I replied. A land developer liked it, a new development was being built, expanding the neighborhood, with a new street, April Lane, and also April Place, with a little garden. I walked out to view the street signs, and almost cried. My great affection for music transforms humbly into devotion/dedication to the art. “Music is where it’s at man.” Won awards on GarageBand.com, including twelve (12) Tracks of the Day (in rock/alt.rock/or comedy), and “At Starbucks” #1 on BJ (indie rock) in ’05, top 10 6 months.
