An ethereal and vintage compositional style supported by incredible vocal lines and choirs.
Surely we are dealing with an artistic project with a solid vision. The rhythmic cadence of Magic In The Hours (feat Kev Sherry) is fascinating. The melody especially in the chorus has the ability to take you to heaven, with those wind arrangements that add a refined and magical touch.
A song that makes you sing along with them and makes you feel part of something bigger. The passion these guys put into composing their songs is enviable.
Disco Mary is a very interesting band. Their music remains in your head and all you can do is press the play button again to relive this beautiful experience.

Magic In The Hours (feat Kev Sherry) is Disco Mary’s Single
After live performances on BBC Radio Scotland as part of the Edinburgh Fringe plus UK music festival appearances (Cambridge Sound & Vision, Party At The Palace) across 2022, Scottish indie pop sensations Disco Mary release new single ‘Magic In The Hours’ via Groove Bound Records. This is the next single taken from their second EP ‘The Wow! Signal’ slated for spring 2023. Of the previous singles, ‘Expectations’ was included on Spotify’s coveted Noteable playlist and ‘Everything’s Normal, Everything’s OK’ was recently featured on E4’s Made In.
Disco Mary includes Glasgow-based Kev Sherry (lead singer of cult Scottish indie band Attic Lights) Dutch London-based electro-pop artist charly haze (Charlot Henzen), Rachel Grant, Michael Beattie, Nicole Gardener and a revolving door of guest performers. Previous singles have seen radio support on BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing Scotland, BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio (UK & USA), and Radio Veronica, NPO Radio 2, 3FM and KINK in The Netherlands. Other features include 3 songs used on Made In Chelsea (E4) and various editorial playlists on Spotify including Noteable and ‘n Goede Bui (NL).
