I already reviewed West Wickhams in the past but they are back with a new Ep and I want to share my opinion about it.
Magenta is West Wickhams’ Ep
The unique and original style of this Duo is reconfirmed in this new Ep.
The voice so reverberated and blended into the sound almost seems to come from our subconscious.
Every time I listen to West Wickhams’ songs I seem to look down a well and see a parallel universe in the abyss.
The thing that immediately hooked me about this band is their sound which is so out of the ordinary that it makes them immediately recognizable.
The inspirations with the past in their compositional style are evident but these guys were able to put their own touch. Indeed their music brings with it the beauty and airiness of Tresco (Italy) the beautiful island where these guys grew up.
All the songs of the Ep are solid and demonstrate once more the mature artistic vision of West Wickhams.
Absolutely confirmed!
Magenta is West Wickhams’ Ep Out Now!

Magenta is West Wickhams’ Ep
Magenta is the colour of universal harmony and emotional balance. Its contains the passion, power and energy of red, restrained by the introspection and quiet energy of violet. It promotes compassion, kindness and cooperation. The colour magenta is a color of cheerfulness, happiness, contentment and appreciation.
West Wickhams are Jon Othello and Elle Flores, a psyschedelique Garage Noir Deux peace, originally from Tresco on the Isles of Scilly. Tresco is famously the island of lost souls and is home to subtropical plants and shipwrecked figureheads. They recently relocated to Richmond, Surrey, where the creatures rule.
