our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Ludettes. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the melodies of his songs.
As soon as I pressed the play button I found myself in a parallel universe.
A world made of orange oceans and yellow skies.
Modern and innovative music that has the ability to disrupt the ordinary balance and to propose a new vision of the world in which we live.
In some moments, Ludettes’ music reminded me of Beck.
An artist that likes to experiment and venture into unknown territories.
Interesting melodies accompanied by absolutely innovative sounds that immediately distinguish the sound of Doug Roj.
An artist to keep an eye on for the great talent and creativity that is able to unleash.
A great discovery that I absolutely recommend to everyone!

In the ’20 lockdown, Doug Roj set to finalize a song set that would be the debut, 2021’s Dirty White Cleveland.
Ohio raised and living for a decade in LA, Roj co-wrote a majority of the featured tracks and recorded, and produced them all.
This mixtape is rounded out by the notable songwriting contributions of Nico Walker, the author of, and basis for, the forthcoming Russo Brothers film ‘Cherry’
