The energy unleashed by this music is contagious. As soon as I pressed the play button I immediately felt like dancing.
A compositional approach that wants to entertain the public and make you feel good. Lovin’ Cup is a song with a groove that gets in your blood. The vocal interpretation of MG (Maria Giorgio) is very theatrical and you feel like in a Broadway show.
The musicians are amazing. Surely we are dealing with a band with a great compositional experience behind it.
This funk, blues, and jazz vibes are irresistible, I believe that enjoying MG & the Orbs live is a unique experience.
In such a complicated time with the world, this music is therapeutic because for a moment it manages to free your head from everyday problems.
MG & the Orbs are a nice energy boost that I recommend to everyone.

MG & the Orbs is not just a band but an entertainment experience that brings together off-beat classic R&B and Blues, plus dynamic originals.
MG (Maria Giorgio) is a native New Yorker and the Orbs hail from NYC and NJ. From singing in high-end restaurants with piano accompaniment to major NYC venues with a 12-piece band MG works her magic dancing and singing across the stage backed by her acclaimed Orbs keeping the vibe high with up-tempo tunes that everyone can enjoy.
MG’s influencers are not just contemporary but include inspirations from the 1920s to present contemporary artists. Her taste is quite eclectic ranging from R&B, Blues, Jazz, and funk. All of which complement her 3 1/2 octave range.
“Music has always been and will always be my best friend. There is always a song to complement a mood. If you’re down, there’s just the right song to lift your mood. If you’re in love, there are songs to help embrace the moment.”
One of MG’s major goals is to be able to contribute to her favorite children’s charities, as well as help mature adults who are alone and in need. “There is so much good that can be done to help the lives of others. I want to be one of the kind and generous people who make a difference and I know my band does too! Treat the earth and the people who inhabit it the way you want to be treated. Lift spirits and make the world a better place one happy face at a time.”
