our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to LoveSelf. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.
The music proposed by this artist has a particular charm. A compositional method that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
The chord progression of the new single is very well thought out and never predictable and banal and the rhythmic and harmonic variations entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
An artist who seems to have a great compositional experience behind him as his songs are solid and mature.
The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
The greatest quality of LoveSelf is that it manages to stand out from the crowd with its unique and unmistakable style.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

LoveSelf is a master of the three minute rush of emotion and his song book is ripe for the picking. Originally hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, LoveSelf has a natural empathy for lost souls. His grim atmospheric style of songwriting & guitar playing appeals to the disenfranchised – the misfits; the so called “losers of society”.
Taking cues from Nirvana, Elliot Smith, and Bones. LoveSelf’s music offers up an escape for those who have been abandoned by their creators in an unloving void. LoveSelf is a fabulist on the mic known for his fragile whisper of a singing voice and his Cobain-esque vocals. His mastery of bedroom chamber-grunge and tangled melodies set him apart from his peers. Be Love- We need a lot of it.
