Love Italy is Louis Emory and The Reckless Few’s Ep
As soon as I saw the title of this Ep I had to speak to you about it.
I have Italian origins and I am pleased that my country is so loved around the world.
Italy is an incredible nation, the cradle of our civilization together with Greece. An open-air museum, where every corner can amaze you with wonderful works of art.
Louis Emory the major architect of this musical project, accompanied The Reckless Few has packaged a delicate and refined Ep that manages to make you experience the feeling of serenity as you walk through the streets of Italian cities.
Love Italy with Rome, Florence, Venice (La Serenissima), and Tuscany encloses the most popular tourist destinations of this European nation.
There are many other places to discover, the small medieval villages in Umbria, the Dolomites, the Caribbean beaches of Sardinia etc.
Louis Emory proves to be a great songwriter because he managed through his songs to transfer intense emotions and touch the soul of the listener, giving us a moment of pure joy.
The production is impeccable and the interpretation by all the band’s members is masterful.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Love Italy is Louis Emory and The Reckless Few’s Ep
Frontman Louis Emory is a singer/songwriter based in Troy, New York – just an hour north of Woodstock, where The Band – one of his many classic rock influences – wrote their debut album, Music from Big Pink. More than fifty years later, Emory would have never imagined he’d be working on his debut EP with one of the album’s engineers, renowned producer, audio engineer and mixer Shelly Yakus.
With a small collective of New York musicians — The Reckless Few — the crew fused their individual sounds to deliver Love Italy, their forthcoming six-track project EP; an ode to a place that reignited Emory’s creative flame.
Composed of multi-instrumentalists Bob Boyer and Tim Lynch (The Recording Company) — the gifted members of this non-traditional band each played an integral part in bringing the Love Italy songs to life in the studio. Rounding out the EP, Yakus polished and co-mixed the tracks.
