A way of composing music that looks to the past but manages to be modern. Twilight atmospheres ranging from punk to darkwave to alternative.
This is music for people of the night, for those who love to live when the sun goes to sleep.
There is something fascinatingly sinister about Mountain Climer’s music. His songs speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener and make you discover the darkest corners of your unconscious.
The vocal interpretation is fantastic and the arrangements are perfect for the genre, the choice of sounds is refined and well thought out.
Let the Blood Flow is a beautiful Ep that I recommend everyone to go and listen to. Mountain Climer proves to be an artist with a great compositional experience behind him.

Mountain Climer is the solo project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Climer. Jeremy grew up in Columbus, Indiana, with stops in Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Chicago, Louisville, Los Angeles (again) along the way before settling in Broomfield, Colorado. He grew up on his family’s old country music and classic rock radio before finding punk rock in the early 90s. Growing up along Indiana 11, just north of John Mellencamp’s childhood home, he didn’t have access to cable in his home to regularly watch MTV.
After finding the Sex Pistols in Karma Records around 1993, he dived deep into punk rock. He is still heavily influenced by The Descendents, and Sex Pistols, as well as Tom Petty, Oasis, Stereophonics, Ryan Adams, The Smiths, Nick Cave, the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Gaslight Anthem and Lucero.
