I already reviewed The Shop Window in the past but they are out now with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
The airy and magical atmospheres of the music proposed by this talented band are reconfirmed in their new single ‘Lay Of The Land’.
The Shop Window gives the impression of already being a very mature band and when I listen to them it seems incredible to me that they still don’t play on big stages around the world.
In my opinion, nothing is missing from their musical project, everything is well thought out and attention to every slightest nuance is obsessive.
Knowing that there are bands of this quality in the world makes you breathe a sigh of relief and makes you hope for a better musical future than the one we are experiencing now.
Another beautiful song that I recommend to everyone.

The Shop Window are back with their new single ‘Lay Of The Land’. With this taster from the next album they take a trip back in time to quench the thirst for their love of 60s bands like The Small Faces, The Creation etc…. Neatly wrapped up in their familiar way!
The swirling psychedelia of the verse kicks into a killer chorus loaded with 80s/90s indie swagger whilst managing to sound firmly planted in the now. It’s like they have their very own flux capacitor to step into any decade they choose at any given time, just to bring it back and bake it into their own jangle pie!.
