Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Law of All. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.
From the first seconds and the first notes started to strike my ears I was fascinated by the sound of this band.
The melodic construction of the songs is never banal and obvious and these guys are able to entertain the listener from the first to the last second with continuous twists.
The production is excellent and you feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable musical understanding.
Of their new single Pushit! I especially liked the bridge which has country references and is totally unexpected.
A band that always manages to amaze and that I recommend adding to your playlists.
Pushit! is Law of All’s Single Out Now!
Orginal and Powerful!
Law of All is an Oslo-based rock trio consisting of Amir Yaakoubd on vocals and guitar, Henric Lundgren on vocals and bass, and Jens Loqvist on drums and percussion.
They combine elements from Hard Rock, Stoner Rock, Garage, Noise Rock and more to create their very own sound that is both catchy, dark and so hard-hitting that your ears buzz until the morning after. The lyrics may not reveal this at first glance but are often about how people treat each other and treat themselves in this absurd world we live in.
They want to show that unorthodox combinations and contrasts can create something fun and playful, whether it is their heavy and fuzzy sound combined with clean vocals or their groovy melodies with dark undertones. There is beauty in ugly. Where there is light, there is also darkness. Laws are, after all, made to be broken.
