Good Day Noir Family,

Fans familiar with their previous work will recognize the same signature elements—groovy rhythms, intricate arrangements, and an undeniable sense of adventure, but this album brings an exciting new energy that pushes their sound even further.

“Ladencia” is a track that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a twilight realm. With its bouncy, infectious rhythm, it feels like it could keep you on your toes all night, blending a danceable vibe with an almost meditative pulse. The playful energy that defines this track could make it a standout on any playlist that celebrates freedom and movement.

The true surprise, however, comes with “Tango.” With this song, Sehore brings in the spirit of the Argentine dance, crafting a rhythm that feels fierce and refined. The track embodies the passionate dynamics of tango, pulling the listener into a world where elegance meets intensity. It’s an unexpected fusion that gives the album a beautiful touch of class, showcasing the band’s ability to blend diverse musical influences with their own distinctive sound.

As the journey continues, “Mañana” offers a more sly rhythm, twisting and turning with its clever arpeggios. There’s a sense of playfulness here, yet also a dreamlike quality that feels like drifting away on a wave of sound.

“Astrónomo” is another standout moment, with a clean guitar sound that evokes comparisons to the work of bands like The Fugs, yet with an added complexity. The intricate, almost labyrinthine guitar lines are paired with a rhythm that feels deliberately unstable, giving the track a slight sense of discomfort. It’s a song that takes you to unexpected places, where the boundaries of genre blur and the rhythm can feel disorienting.

The album closes with “Madurez 2.0,” a track that uses a strange, shifting arpeggio to create a vivid image of a moonlit sea. The arpeggios seem to represent the waves themselves, sparkling under the moon’s glow. It’s a perfect way to close the album, with a song that feels eternal, like it’s locked in a perpetual motion that carries you into another realm altogether.

Sehore’s “Ladencia” offers an intriguing mix of infectious grooves, intricate musicality, and psychedelic bliss.

Unrestrained!

Sehore is a newly formed musical project that began its journey in 2025 with the release of its debut album, Ladencia.

The core concept behind the project is an alternative blend of songs composed using common chord progressions, contrasted with harmonies that have traditionally been avoided and labeled as dissonances (such as in Pesadilla, Mañana, or Vals). The tracks play with kitsch and a deliberately saccharine style while steering clear of emulating any particular era, bringing together rhythms from different periods. However, listeners are free to interpret it as they wish. The album retains certain background noises that, while reducing the sonic purity, add a sense of natural authenticity.

Some lyrics, at times lacking specific meaning, serve merely as a pretext to accompany the melodies. The language used aims to avoid sexism, and tracks like Mariposa and Timba advocate for the rights of the LGTBI+ community, which have been unjustly denied. The song Tango stands as a manifesto against gender-based violence. Within the realm of social themes, Astrónomo and Safari reject aporophobia (discrimination against the poor).

Recorded at Paco Loco Studio.
Mastered at Kadifornia by Mario G. Alberni.
℗ MusicHunters Records

Sehore is the Silver Medal Winner at the Global Music Awards 2025 for the song “Pesadilla.”
