E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Kite Thief
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Kite Thief. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their songs.
Two things immediately struck me as soon as I hit the play button and started listening to this band.
The energetic and modern sounds and the singer’s voice that has a unique and very recognizable timbre.
The construction of the songs is not trivial at all, interesting rhythmic and harmonic variations keep the listener glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
Very nice guitar riffs that transform these songs into a hard rock softened by the sweet but strong voice of the singer.
You can hear that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach this enviable musical understanding.
Arrangements, execution, and mix are of excellent quality and these guys face the world with a very professional product.

Kite Thief are a 5-piece Gutter Candy Metal troupe from Bristol UK. Their sound is like dropping your favourite candy in the gutter, sweet and topped with grit. Joyously brimming with angular riffs, catchy choruses and a ballsy rhythm section, it’s filthy but you still want to pop it back in your mouth!
