our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Kevin Walsh. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the vibes created by his music.
The music proposed by this artist is very exciting and refined.
As soon as I started listening to the beautiful melody of Embrace the World, the atmosphere created by the Disney soundtracks came to mind. This music brings hope and manages for a moment to make you forget about everyday problems.
This collaboration between very talented artists demonstrates how when people come together they can create something truly amazing.
Kevin Walsh is not only the songwriter but also the main architect of this ambitious project which I am sure must not have been easy to organize.
The production is excellent and the interpretation by all the artists is truly exciting. If you want to spend a few epic minutes, go listen to this beautiful song.

Kevin Walsh is a songwriter, musician, singer and actor who developed his passion for music from an early age, singing before he could talk. He graduated from MTU (formerly CIT) Cork School of Music with First Class Honours BMus and MA degrees, having achieved the award of Highest Placed Student for three consecutive years.
During his studies, Kevin specialised in vocal performance under Robert Craig (MMus Juilliard), music production technology under Hugh McCarthy and Popular Songwriting under Chris Ahern (Stargazers). Participation in numerous supporting and ensemble roles in local musical theatre, television / short film and opera productions (directed by the likes of John O’Brien, Ciaran Bermingham and Yvonne Coughlan), informed Kevin’s style as a songwriter, combining popular music tropes with the dynamic harmonies and storytelling found on both the stage and screen. His songs, having been compared by industry peers to Rufus Wainwright, Jim Steinman and the Walt Disney films, have featured in college showcases and local musical revues. In 2018, Kevin had the opportunity to write and premier two songs at The Everyman Theatre as part of the variety musical, A Night on the Town, which was devised by Denis Eivers and Yvonne Coughlan of Red Sandstone Varied Productions in conjunction with Cork City Musical Society to raise funds for the Cork Samaritans.
Kevin dreams of working in every facet and capacity of the industry, as a singer, songwriter, musician, actor, arranger, and producer. His debut single titled Embrace the World is in benefit of AsIAm, Ireland’s leading Autism charity ran by Adam Harris. This project is very meaningful to Kevin as he was diagnosed with Autism at the age of five, and it is his way of communicating with the world and assisting a prominent charity ran by autistic people for autistic people. The single, produced by Keith Clancy and Aidan O’Mahony, includes some of Ireland’s top music industry artists and musicians.
