our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to KerenDun & Nitai Hershkovits. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the refined nuances of their music.
As soon as the music of these talented artists started playing I found myself in a world full of magic.
Ethereal and fascinating melodies articulated with melodic intuitions really bold and innovative.
Unconventional music that mixes jazz and classical music, in some points I would define it as avant-garde that also winks at traditional melodies of the Middle East.
Nitai Hershkovits on piano touches the notes as if they were raindrops falling into a puddle. Light and fragile moments able to become infinite.
The high and refined voice of KerenDun that sinuously moves on intricate melodic lines, manages to give a common thread to a music that seems to have no foothold but that in reality, if evaluated as a whole, manages to convey an enviable calm and completeness.

We’re excited to announce the upcoming release by vocalist KerenDun & pianist Nitai Hershkovits. It seems these two characters were bound to eventually create something together; both having very flexible, unconventional approaches to music and to life in general, always looking for an original, unexplored avenue.
The result of their collaboration is a mesmerizing EP titled ‘Let The Mountain In’ which beautifully puts the piano & voice relationship in a new light.
