our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Jeffrey Chan. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the nostalgic vibes of his song ‘You Only Want Me When I’m Gone’.
The music of this artist immediately made me take a trip back in time.
A sound that reminded me of the legendary 80s. A very interesting compositional method that manages to mix past and future in a perfect balance.
The voice of this artist is very interesting and immediately recognizable, with its warm and passionate tone that manages to reach the heart and soul of the listener.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the song, although it maintains a structure of commercial music, manages to be refined thanks to the careful selection of sounds and attention to every little nuance.
Jeffrey Chan’s music creates a nice atmosphere that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.
