I came across Ivan Utkin’s music and I was immediately struck by the nostalgic atmosphere of his songs.
His music makes you travel to infinite spaces and make you remember the Russian Tundra.
It makes you want to get lost in those endless plains.
The production of the songs is excellent with a great balance between the various instruments.
The mix manages to give the right space to each sound element.
The choice of the instruments is very refined and Ivan Utkin amazes with the inclusion of acoustic and ethnic elements.
The voice with a low timbre adds even more magic to these wonderfully performed songs by this talented artist.
Like 007’s movie “From Russia with Love” in this case, it is really true and I add a touch of melancholy.
