Twilight!
Cheshire, England songwriter Matt Warren proved that letting his mind stray resulted in something bigger than the sum of its parts. While waiting on the final mix of a single to complete his previous record, inspiration sparked and Matt couldn’t slow the flow of songs pouring through his mind. Before he knew it, his work resulted in a totally separate and full fledged concept album, Excited To Die. This inspired new project is set for release on November 1st, 2023.
Excited To Die was written chronologically as each track appears to get that ‘old school’ complete album feel. Songs range from conspiracy theorists, to controlling partners, to taking a sick day but realizing you may be better off with your mind occupied at work. As the title Excited To Die suggests, Matt Warren flips the fear of death on its head and instead wonders just how amazing it might actually be. He approaches those corners of our minds that most of us do not normally like to explore, creating a safe space to look inward on those dark inner thoughts.
