The Laconic aims to produce music that stands on its own without technical displays (because his technique is not noteworthy) and without lyrics (because he is Laconic). He is interested not in melancholy, but in sanguinity.
The Laconic plays the U8 Touch Guitar, bass guitars, and synths, many of which he built himself, in the tradition of Jedi who build their own lightsabers. He is based in Chicago.
