our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Insane Blue. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by their music.
This band offers a unique and innovative style.
I really liked the musical ingredients used to create this innovative musical recipe. In their compositional style, you can hear influences from Noir Desir and The National in my opinion.
Nostalgic and profound music capable of speaking directly to the heart and soul of the listener.
The production is excellent, the instruments exude emotions and are perfectly recorded. The chord progression is masterfully thought out and all the songs are solid and well thought out.
I found no flaws in this album, a coherent work where every slightest nuance is kept under control.
The result is wonderful and I recommend everyone to go and listen to it.

Refined and Innovative!
After taking a break to focus their attention elsewhere, Philippe and Paul decided to get back together to rock it out once more with new music throughout 2020. Philippe and Paul first came together as Insane Blue just as the ’90s got started, and started to take serious steps in ’96 while at university. From then until 2003, the two of them provided the vocals and guitar and welcomed a plethora of guest artists to play alongside them. When they decided it was time to step back into the Insane Blue realm, they believed that was the way to move forward once more. With a handful of singles released, Insane Blue is finally out with his album « A state of mental confusion »
