Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Inner Psyche. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like her music a lot.
From the very first notes the musical approach of this artist made me think of the rock of the 90s.
A very interesting chord progression interspersed with unusual and refined melodies a bit like Alice In Chains do.
I personally like this style a lot and it is very well executed by this eclectic artist.
A simple but effective production, a slightly rough mix in my opinion perfect for the genre because you can feel the sincerity of this music that comes directly from the heart of this talented artist.
Real emotions embedded in beautiful songs
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Fifteen Minutes More is Inner Psyche’s Single Out Now!
Vintage and Real!
Inner Psyche is the brainchild of Chicago-based singer/songwriter/guitarist Lexi Moon. She sprung from my head, concurrently with the songs you are hearing. Who am I? Listen to the songs – they’ll tell you everything you need to know. I used to be someone else, but I’ve learned how to be myself. With six-string on hip, my quest to become a rock and roll goddess marches on…
Combining the raw honesty of Against Me’s Laura Jane Grace, the winking snark of early Weezer, the fiery individualism of Halestorm Lzzy Hale, and the heavy prog-rock leanings of King’s X, debut album “Never Too Late” is the soundtrack for anyone who’s struggled with being true to themselves in a world that wants you to be just like everybody else. Equal parts glam, prog, and melodic hard rock, all songs are performed in their entirety by Lexi Moon.
In 2021, the debut has been remastered and re-released under the new moniker, Inner Psyche and retitled “Becoming,” more accurately reflecting the dichotomy experienced by someone whose physical being doesn’t match their inner soul. New single “Fifteen Minutes More…” is Lexi’s first new release as Inner Psyche.
