Their music has all the ingredients to do well. The new single I’m At A Loss is perfect. This tune should already be on the charts.
I ask you to tell me what this song has less than Blinding Light by The Weeknd? A song is known all over the world but the difference in quality does not exist with I’m At A Loss.
The vibes created by these tracks are similar and the choice of sounds wink at the 80s seasoning the musical arrangements of both songs.
This does not mean that Alta Falls are not original … on the contrary, they have peculiarities that distinguish them from the crowd.
There are gems that deserve a lot more visibility and I hope the Spotify editors wake up soon…they seem “blinded by the lights” and they don’t see these talented artists.

Alongside the announcement of an Australian national tour this November, Alta Falls reveal their straight-up electro-pop single ‘I’m At A Loss’. In a big shift from their previous ultra-chill track, ‘The Space In Between’, ‘I’m At A Loss’ builds the duo’s momentum back up. It’s a shimmery, upbeat track that comes in waves, peaking and crashing at just the right moments.
“The words, ‘I’m at a loss’ came to me out of the blue while Matt was showing me a new song idea he had been playing around with,” explains lead singer, Nathanael. “The phrase intrigued me, so I reached out to our followers on Discord, and asked them what ‘I’m at a loss’ means to them. Their answers formed the inspiration for the lyrics of the song.”
The end result is this newest single – a song that takes us through what it means to be at a loss… That overwhelming feeling of being lost in the unknown, yet breathing through the present, and holding high hopes for the future.
The duo have again teamed up with producer Aidan Hogg (G Flip, Holy Holy), engineer Jordan Bain, as well as drummer Sebastian ‘Baz’ Jennings Hingston (Tia Gostelow) for the new single.
