I Won’t Listen is Coma Beach’s Ep Out Now
Good Day Noir Family,
Coma Beach is back with a vengeance on their new EP, “I Won’t Listen,” and it’s a wild ride from start to finish.
I Won’t Listen is Coma Beach’s Ep Out Now
The opening track starts with the unique strumming of a raw guitar, setting the irreverent tone for the entire EP.
The title track’s vocal delivery is a perfect blend of vintage grit and punk snarl. Just when you think you’ve got the song figured out, it throws a curveball at the 1:30 mark.
A brilliant shift in pace that throws you headfirst into a chaotic universe reminiscent of Trainspotting’s adrenaline-fueled energy.
For those familiar with Coma Beach, this EP is a continuation of their ability to awaken the inner rebel.
“The Past of the Future” juxtaposes an almost black metal-esque vocal with a punk base, creating a truly intriguing soundscape.
“Passion” takes a more introspective turn, showcasing the band’s versatility before building to a powerful finale.
The closing track, “Another Song,” is pure fun. Slightly out-of-tune acoustics set the mood for a playful question-and-answer dialogue between the lead vocals and backing shouts. It’s a fitting end to an EP that’s anything but conventional.
These guys always prove to be a great band.

Unforgettable!
“This EP, named after its lead single “I Won’t Listen”, features the following four songs from our album “The Scapegoat’s Agony”, all of which have been slightly abridged for this release (mostly dispensing with some of their mood-setting intros, which are probably a more natural fit for a full-length album.” – Coma Beach
