Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Hollywood Eyes. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their compositional style.
The sound of this band is very interesting. A catchy, fresh and modern sound that somehow recalls the summer.
I really liked the vibes that the new single I Hope You Find It manages to exude.
Surely these guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
The bass follows the rhythmic designs of the kick like a shadow, giving a solid rhythmic foundation to the song. All musical arrangements are very accurate and every harmonic nuance is wisely thought out in every little detail.
The singer interprets the lyrics with the right passion and energy and his vocal timbre is dynamic and confident.
Hollywood Eyes seems to have all the numbers to stand out from the crowd and get noticed around the world.
I Hope You Find It is Hollywood Eyes’ New Single Out Now!
Intense and Mature!
Hollywood Eyes are a five-piece indie-pop band made up of Ryan Pridding (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Anthony Edes (Bass), Chris Mee (Drums), Connor Ledsom (Lead Guitar) and George Magraw (Keyboard). Since releasing their debut single ‘Dollhouse’ in 2018, they have crafted a unique, indie-pop sound focusing on catchy guitar hooks, prominent basslines and dreamy vocals.
Taking influence from 80s inspired and modern contemporary artists, they have established their own identity in an extremely competitive industry. They have since released a further five singles which caught the attention of BBC Introducing with All I Need, Bound To (You) and Torn; described as “perfectly homing in on the angst and troubles of young adolescence and relationships”.
Their single ‘Bound To (You)’ along with its music video has propelled the band to new heights and established them as one of the most exciting and anticipated bands in Cheshire. The band have been described as a “full package to pick up – these guys not only deserve a chance, but their quality demands a chance. These are a band to see and hear.”
