Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to HNTRS. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was fascinated by their music.
I liked the sound of this band right from the start. An epic, powerful and mysterious music.
The crescendo of the new single THE CROWN is absolutely fantastic, the guitar riffs are direct, solid, and hit you like a punch in the face. However, the song begins with the caress of atmospheric keys that serve as a prelude to the sound storm that will strike you later on.
Surely we are in front of great musicians as the chord progression is never predictable and banal and the rhythmic variations manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is perfect for the genre and the execution and interpretation are absolutely masterful.
I instantly became a fan of HNTRS, this is the music I like… ten out of ten!

HNTRS – |ˈhʌntəz | – is a Fresh Band from Belgium focusing on deep instrumental textures with melodic and melancholic tones. The roots of the project take us somewhere back in the early 00’s but the band saw a new light in 2020 during the pandemic.
Some of our musical influences are quite obvious and if you have already heard our music you have probably made some connections. We see our footprint as a combination of sharpened riffs, disrupted rhythmics, hypnotic patterns and melancholic vocals. And we hope you will come and see all these translate in powerful and intimate live performances with red bar as only light source.
