This band offers very catchy music that manages to make you forget about everyday problems.
The thing that struck me the most is the singer’s vocal timbre. A warm and intense voice that manages to characterize the sound of the band.
You can feel that these guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical chemistry.
Although this is their debut single Glossy Boy show that they already have a solid artistic vision and very mature composition skills.
The musical arrangements are very well thought out and their style keeps you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
Glossy Boy are a very interesting band that I intend to follow to see what they will be able to do in the future.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Hey Julia is Glossy Boy’s Single
Birthed from the solo work of frontman Chris Pidsley, this trio have collaborated together since secondary school and know how to create catchy and infectious hook-laden tunes. This first release, Hey Julia, is a prime example of this with such an ear worm of a chorus you’ll be singing along on the first listen! A great guitar driven anthem about a crush soaked in youthful energy and positivity mixed and produced by Jim Barr of Portishead fame.
