our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Harlow Lake. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his unique musical approach.
I hit the play button and was immediately struck by the groove and sounds selected by this eclectic artist.
The voice, in particular, mesmerized me, a different timbre immediately recognizable.
Very nice also the background voices that in some moments, for the harmonies proposed, reminded me of Nirvana.
The harmonic and rhythmic construction of the song is really innovative and fascinating, continuous variations make the listening very pleasant and you are entertained from the first to the last second.
This artist is always able to amaze the listeners for the bold and never obvious artistic choices.
Listening to this music is like taking a psychedelic trip in a parallel universe where everything is upside down but even if everything seems messy this chaos is very well organized.
Frankly, I was very impressed by this artist who offers new, original and fantastic music.

Irish, Cork-based progressive art rock artist Shane O Leary, also known as Harlow Lake is steering toward a different sound in 2021. No stranger to the stage, he has toured extensively throughout Ireland over the last 15 years, as well as the UK and Sicily, with prog-rock outfits, Jezery and Lamp. Supporting such acts as Three Trapped Tigers, Adebisi Shank, Diane And The Shell and Ten Past Seven.
