Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s featured Band is Factheory and their Single Got You.
Got You is Factheory’s Single
I liked the sound of this band a lot as it seems to hide a secret. A twilight atmosphere that wants to reach the depths of your soul.
Surely these guys take inspiration from the past to compose their songs but, at the same time, their sound is modern also thanks to the help of OK Lion! who produced this remix with the band.
The addition of industrial nuances added darkwave vibes to Factheory’s sound, it seems as if bands like Christian Death merged with Prodigy … a truly unique musical blend that makes the music of this band stand out from the crowd.
You can feel that Factheory have musical experience behind them as their songs contain a peculiar charm and are well thought out.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Got You is Factheory’s Single Out Now!

Got You is Factheory’s Single
Factheory is a band build with the ashes of many more or less alternative groups of the 80s, 90s and 2000s (Dirty Time, Petit Futur, Amazing Games, Unsaid … among others) Factheory represents a successful compromise between a darkwave with unstoppable melodies and a postpunk rock with electro trends.
Singing in turn in English and French following the harmonic inspirations of the songs, Factheory’s repertoire seems to have found, after five years of existence, and in the stability of its line-up, consistency and homogeneity, both in its sounds than in his musical approach.
In October 2021, his third ep 3Sand1D was released, a four-track CD on the independent label K1L records, a label on which their first demo, Weekend at the black studio, was released in 2018 followed by the first real 4-track ep Stockholm in 2019.
Faithful result of their ability to compose unstoppable songs, the group offers this time, two titles in French and two titles in English which will also be found on the vinyl whose release was scheduled for January 5, 2022.
In may 2022, a new EP, Black my Heart, was released and also a single “Souvent” remixed by another Belgian band OK Lion!.
From now on, a successful mix between dub and electro-pop at Shelter, supercharged punk-wave, passing by the catchy rock of Subutex or even, Often, long hypnotic and twilight melody, we soak up this singular universe while letting ourselves be carried away by their catchy melodies.
