As soon as I pressed the play button I literally immersed myself in the music universe created by this talented artist.
The sweet and mysterious vocal timbre spoke directly to my soul and my heart. A voice has the ability to make you forget about everyday problems and while listening to her sound you are living a fantastic artistic experience.
Gillian Rae Perry’s new single is wonderful and you feel that this artist has a lot of compositional experience behind her and that she knows music theory very well.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the melody is original and refined. I was literally mesmerized by her music.
A fantastic discovery that everyone knows.

The song comes almost 1 year after the composer released her debut singer songwriter album, Gilly. Gilly focused lyrically on mental health, particularly the ways the singer had battled with her own depression and anxiety. This new song serves as a balm for these struggles and a continual reminder that things will get better.
