Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Gilboa. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and was fascinated by the sweetness of their music.
The sound of this band is intriguing.
The thing that immediately fascinated me are the ethereal and nostalgic melodies that somehow speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener.
The sound research is very interesting, a compositional style that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time with the inclusion of grooves and experimental effects.
All the songs on this album are solid and the work, in general, is very coherent as it creates a sonic universe made of profound emotions capable of touching the listener.
The sound understanding that Gilboa have managed to create is enviable as they are able to produce refined music that is never banal and predictable.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Sweet and Modern!
Tobias and Alex went to high school together where they created a friendship based around music and music production. Eventually, they got in touch with former Jingle writer Clifford Lane and began to record in his New York studio. Eventually, the Trio Teamed up with Guest Singers Poppy Lane, Aisling Rafferty who perfectly fit in the groups expanding sound. Today Tobias Pemsler the Main songwriter of the group is living In London while the rest of the band is littered across the northeast of the U.S. They are hoping to organize an east coast tour this upcoming summer as well as record a new record.
