our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Gideon Foster. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify I liked his music very much.
The voice of this artist immediately struck me, perhaps also for how it was recorded. It is so present that it seems to have Gideon Foster with you in the room.
An interesting vocal timbre, full of nuances that make his music immediately recognizable.
The compositional style is inspired by the past, in my opinion, but it manages to be modern at the same time. The chord progression is never predictable and banal and is able to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Surely we are faced with a songwriter with great compositional talent and experience behind him as he offers refined melodies where every little nuance is well thought out.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
