Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Gavin Conway. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his compositional style.
The rock of this artist in my opinion winks at the rock of the late 90s, in particular, reminded me of the first songs of Lenny Kravitz. I somehow saw some creative similarities with that musical period.
The voice is interesting and reminded me of Neil Young, this mix of rock with a voice that seems more suitable for folk music fascinated me a lot.
This artist has managed to mix different ingredients creating a unique recipe that distinguishes his sound.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Gavin Conway is a Dublin based Singer/songwriter releasing his debut single on August 27th. Having established himself as a DJ In the Irish dance music scene, having played all corners of the country and held residences in some of Irelands biggest clubs, Gavin had time during covid to go back to his roots as a Singer/songwriter which he specialised in while attending BCFE.
‘Throw A Stone’ is Gavins debut single, in which he follows the sound of his influences which include
Stone Roses, The Charlatans and other Manchester artists. Having played Ultra Festival in Croatia twice and hosting his own Stage at Life Festival , Gavin is hoping to reach the same level he has in the dance music scene, but as a fledgling indie singer/songwriter.
