our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Gavan Waldby. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the lovely atmosphere created by his music.
The sweetness of the music proposed by this artist immediately won me over.
Gavan Waldby seems like one of those songwriters of the past who had a peculiar style and charm.
The chord progression and melodic construction are really interesting. A way of composing music that winks at the past but manages to be modern at the same time. Perhaps because all the art that is done with passion and love never goes out of style.
The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone. Music that brings with it the refinement of a compositional style of the past.
